Thrive in 12 – Week 1 (April–June 2026) – Find Your Why: Welcome to the journey!
PinnedDear ladies of Thrive in 12- Welcome!
We’re so happy that you’re here.
This community is your space to feel supported, understood, and connected with women who are walking through a similar season of life.
Some days will feel motivated
Some days may feel messy, or like you're "falling behind."
Just know- all of it is normal, and you, and all of your feelings and ideas are welcome here!
And - You are not alone.
We grow stronger, steadier, and more resilient together.
This is a space where you can:
• Share wins, progress, and “aha” moments
• Ask questions about anything in the program
• Speak honestly about challenges or setbacks
• Exchange ideas, recipes, routines, and tools
• Feel encouraged, supported, and seen
There is no perfect way to show up here.
Come as you are. That is enough.
A few simple guidelines to keep this space supportive for everyone:
• Lead with kindness and respect
• No judgment around bodies, choices, or pace
• Keep what is shared here confidential
• Encourage more than compare
• Share personal experience rather than medical advice
Please introduce yourself below
We’d love to get to know you.
If you feel comfortable, share:
• Your name
• Where are you joining from? (I am in Montreal:)
• What brought you to Thrive in 12- What is your WHY?
• One cool thing about yourself
• One goal that you want to set for the next 90 days in this program!
Do you have any questions going into week 2, where we dig into optimising your sleep?
I am happy to answer!
Again, our entire team is deeply honoured that you’re here.
Let’s walk this journey together and support one another in building strength, health, and a life that feels aligned and sustainable.
We’re all here and rooting for you every step of the way!

Rose Staples, hello 💛!
Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here with us.
First of all, 48 years of marriage, 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and a career as a professional genealogist… you're my hero!
What an incredible life story and legacy you have created already. I would say- now is your time to really steward your body in a way you couldn't have before!
And please know: what you’re experiencing with weight changes after menopause is extremely common. So many women notice that the strategies that used to work no longer seem to work the same way once hormones, sleep, stress response, muscle mass, and metabolism begin shifting in midlife.
The good news is that this does not mean your body is “broken.”
It simply means the body often needs a different approach now:
more support for muscle, metabolism, recovery, nervous system regulation, nourishment, sleep, and sustainable movement. And truly, that is exactly what this program is designed to help you understand step by step.
You do not need to figure it all out at once.
We’ll build this together week by week in a realistic, supportive way.
I’m very glad your doctor pointed you toward the program, and I’m really excited to have you here with us, Rose 💛

My name is Rose Staples age 65 I live in New Brunswick. Married 48 years in August mother of 4 adult children and 12 grandchildren. I am Professional Genealogist, love knitting, quilting and rug hooking.
Since menopause I have been unable to get off those winter pounds that would come on. When I spoke to my doctor about the issue he recommended this program.
Goal would be to learn how I can get rid of this menopause weight.
