Midlife Mocktails
Starting a mocktail thread for us (inspired by Hannah @... and MariaInMeno - thanks ladies!)
I made a batch of these over the labour day weekend and they were too good not to share. The recipe is from the Mindful Mocktail:
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup pomegranate juice (ideally not from concentrate)
- 1 cup sparkling water (or ginger ale if you prefer your drinks sweeter)
- 6–8 fresh mint leaves
- 2–3 lime wedges
Steps:
1. Add lime wedges and pomegranate juice to a class. Muddle well to release the lime juice
2. Add the mint leaves and give them a gentle press with the muddler
3. Fill the glass with ice
4. Top with sparkling water (or ginger ale)
5. Garnish with extra mint and a lime wedge
Refreshing, easy and gorgeous in a glass. Enjoy ladies!

How to make it:
Pick up ginger kombucha, fresh limes and mint sprigs on your next grocery run
- Cut a lime into wedges and drop a few into your glass
- Add ~ 1–2 sprigs of mint and muddle them together with the limes
- Fill your glass with ice
- Pour in ginger kombucha and enjoyIt’s refreshing, fizzy & a healthier twist on the classic!
