If you have a pre-existing condition that’s unrelated to menopause, you should continue care with your GP or specialist. We can still work alongside that care and consider how menopause-related changes may be affecting how you feel.

If your medical history is complex or your needs fall outside our scope, we’ll let you know early and help guide you toward the right next step.

Do you prescribe medications or treatments?

Depending on your needs, your care plan may include prescriptions, supplements when appropriate, and lifestyle strategies.

If a different clinician is needed, we’ll outline the recommendation and cost up front so you can decide what feels right.

Do you offer hormone therapy options?

Are you able to prescribe bioidentical hormones?

You may hear the term “bioidentical” used in different ways, which can be confusing.

When hormone therapy is prescribed, we use standard, regulated options (Health Canada–approved). Some contain hormones such as estradiol and micronized progesterone, which are chemically identical to hormones the body produces.

Your clinician will recommend the best option and form for you (for example, patch, pill, or vaginal formulations) and explain the differences in plain language.
